Month End Celebration

We've all been collecting blocks for a while now.  Making rainbow blocks is fun and addicting after all.  Eventually though, it is good to start to turn some of those blocks into actual quilts.  This is our first special linky party for finished Rainbow Scrap Challenge quilts.
I worked hard this month to get OMG together and one step closer to being a finished quilt.  Sadly, after a bit of a bobbin mishap, the quilting is not quite done yet.  I'm still celebrating though.  It is in the final stages of delivery.
I am so excited to see the other quilts that made it to those final stages this month.  But wait, there is one more bit of celebration.  I happen to have some extra OMG blocks to share.  If you are working on OMG, Omigosh, the Birthday Quilt or want to start a similar quilt, just leave me a comment.  I will pick someone from the list and pass along my extra bits and bobs to share the love.  In case you are wondering, each of the nine patches are made from 1 inch squares.   So tiny!  All I ask is that you find some way to use the blocks if you win the giveaway.

Your OMG quilt looks fantastic! I love the diagonal bands of color. It's a beauty, but not something I feel the need to make (don't enter me in the drawing.)

I've been admiring your Omigosh quilt since I found your blog. (3 years ago) It is on my to do list. It would be a great way to but this dream into reality with a "starter kit". Thanks for the chance, Angela. ;^)

You KNOW that I've been working with Tiny Nines for the past 2 years. I would LOVE to have your leftovers to incorporate into my quilt!! Thanks for the chance to win some scrappy bits.

Congratulations on your almost-nearly-finished project (sorry about the bobbin mishap). I'll pass on the leftovers as there are others who are actually working on those projects -- they need them more than I do. Hope this new monthly link up is well-received. I think it is a great idea to celebrate finishes!

Love your little friend, is he/she claiming the quilt, or just trying to help? Congratulations on being so close to finishing, I read your bobbin mishap post. I would be interested in those little nine-patches, I've got a bunch of scraps that they could play with, my thoughts would be a baby size quilt, but you don't know, sometimes I get obsessed with new scrappy projects and they grow. Thanks for coming up with the Month End Celebration, just what I needed to push me to finishing the Paintbox quilt.

A shame about your bobbin issues but you look so nearly finished with your fabulous OMG quilt. I would love a chance to win your spare bits, it would be fun to add them to my own OMG quilt, thank you for the opportunity to win :-)

I've wanted to work on a rainbow quilt for the past two years and link up here but somehow life has gotten in the way. I do enjoy visiting the links and have found a number of new blogs to follow. I am in the process of making a 1.5 inch postage stamp quilt. I would love your leftovers. kthurn(at)bektel(dot)com

Bummer on the bobbin but you are oh so close to a wonderful finish! No thanks on the extra bits and bobs....I'm still drowning in scraps (found another bin this weekend... I swear they are multiplying at night!).

Hi. I'm totally in love with your OMG quilt and at the moment I am madly cutting out 1" squares. As I live in Aust., good luck to the people who win your blocks, they are very lucky.

I am always looking for things to make into a quilt for the Linus project. I am excited about making a rainbow scrap quilt-got a few purples done, but any gift blocks would be wonderful.

Sorry you didn't get it all done, but progress is progress, so that definitely counts. No link up this month, my RSC UFOs will have to wait till the graduation quilts are all done. But I'll have fun admiring all the other ones.
