Design Wall Monday July 16, 2012

It is so good to be home again.  After a week away there are a million things that need to be done.  I did take just a few minutes to cut some of the setting blocks for teal crumbs though.  The box isn't quite empty yet, so the quilt will get a bit bigger, but for now, I wanted to know how it was going to look.  Now, off to start the laundry and pick up the dog from the kennel.  The list for today begins.

Oh I do love scrappy, the teal is just the ticket for keeping it all together. Nicely done! Welcome home :0) and Happy Sewing

I'm in love with the two tone teal that you are using. I would never have guessed those two colors could do so much to make the scrappy blocks pop. Looks great.

P.S. Teal and red are really in right now. Have you tried to use red for the outer squares instead of the royal blue? Might just make it really pop. Of course, this is coming from a gal whose favorite color is red, just to let you know. LOL! :o)
